Conte Crayon Matchbook Set

Made from a blend of natural pigments, kaolin clay, and graphite, these pastel sticks provide particularly soft and smooth drawing. They are well suited for use on newsprint, bristol, toned paper or heavily grained surfaces. This convenient set features four popular Conte Crayons in a compact matchbox storage container with protective sponge insert. The pastel square is Conté à Paris’ iconic conte crayon, its unique square shape—6x6 mm in section and 65 mm in length—makes it versatile: the edges allow for precise lines, while the flat sides are perfect for backgrounds and soft, powdered areas. Its texture, slightly softer than pastel pencils. 

The set includes one each of Sanguine, Bistre, Black and White 2B.
